Ordered a range of food including T-Bone Steak, grilled Sea Bass, shawarma etc.
Overall the food served was poor, so much so that we could not finish it due to lack of quality. The T-Bone steak was very small and parts were inedible, leaving 3 of us with a chunk the size of a 50p piece! The shawarma was greasy, fatty and flavourless. The only think that was decent were the sauces and pickles, and to some extent the chips. Overall, we were very disappointed with the experience and agreed that we would not be returning. We told the brother that the T-Bone at around £9 was a big disappointment in size, and he said next time he would try to do better. We also wanted to try the Tagine but they only cook on order. The other thing to watch out for is that the menu is out of date with prices etc, but they only told us this when we queried the bill i.e. they started to list differences in price between the menu and what they charge. This I felt was a bit dishonest. On the plus point, the staff were friendly and the seating in the basement in the Moroccan style was comfortable and relaxing.

We ordered the chicken crisps, fusion platter, chicken noodles and 3 refillable drinks.
They advertised a decent 3-course meal for £5 (also on website) but when we went they said lunchtime only. This is not stated anywhere on the website or board outside the restaurant.
Service was poor, we waited, seated ourselves and after a few minutes even went to find menus ourselves.
Verdict: Oil-logged and chewy chicken crisp strips on some lettuce did not impress. The half grilled chicken was well cooked as part of the fusion, and the onion rings/prawn toast were also ok. However, the chicken rice and chicken noodles were both dry and flat tasting. The self-serve drinks were poor, some flat, some lacking taste. Overall, we will not be returning.
DECOR/ENVIRONMENT: Bordering on tatty (broken/hanging light fittings, no signs to toilets etc)
PRICE: Moderate, £10 per head
FOOD: Poor
SERVICE: Poor
SCORE: 6 out of 10
RECOMMENDED: No
